Projects in several Central American countries

If your project spans several countries, we coordinate a single schedule of activities with operational capacity in El Salvador and Honduras and independent operators in Guatemala and Panama, subject to assessment.

Initial guidance

Is this the right route for your project?

Regional coordination: When the project spans more than one country and needs a common sequence, people responsible and reporting.

Decide first

  • Countries, priority and order of entry
  • Activity and expected outcome in each jurisdiction
  • Internal lead, budget and timeline

Prepare for the assessment

  • Project summary and decision criteria
  • Documents and participants by country
  • Dependencies, known risks and target dates

Essential limit

In Guatemala and Panama we coordinate through independent operators or professionals, subject to assessment. They are not presented as our own offices and no results are guaranteed.

01Who it is for

Who it is for

For companies that operate, or plan to operate, in more than one Central American country and need to organize the sequence, the responsible parties and the documents for each jurisdiction.

A regional project is usually delayed more by a lack of coordination between countries than by the regulations of any one of them. We keep one roadmap for the whole project and a single point of contact for you.

02Problems it solves

Problems it solves

  • Moving forward in several countries without a common schedule.
  • Not knowing which country to address first or what depends on what.
  • Unclear responsibilities among the parties involved in each country.
03What can be coordinated

What is coordinated and who carries it out

  • In El Salvador, the services provided by Vertex Global Services. El Salvador →
  • In Honduras: direct operational capacity; the proposal identifies the contracting entity, scope and responsibilities. Honduras →
  • In Guatemala and Panama, coordination is carried out through independent operators, subject to assessment of the case, to availability and to the operator's acceptance, and provided that we have an independent operator brought in under our assessment criteria. We do not have our own offices in those countries.
  • A regional roadmap, with the sequence by country and the dependencies between countries.
  • Progress reports and a regional schedule of activities.

Before we begin, we explain how the service will be delivered and which responsibilities fall to Vertex and which to the independent operator. The operator's identity is disclosed when it is needed for contracting, for the handling of information or for delivering the service, under the applicable confidentiality terms.

Who carries it out

Vertex coordinates the roadmap, schedule and reports with operational capacity in El Salvador and Honduras. In Guatemala and Panama, independent operators take part when the stated conditions are met. In each country, regulated acts are carried out by licensed professionals of that jurisdiction, and local institutions and banks decide.

04Deliverables

Deliverables

Depending on the service contracted, you receive:

  • A regional roadmap with the sequence by country.
  • A checklist by jurisdiction with responsible parties and status.
  • Progress reports at the frequency set in the proposal.
  • A regional schedule of activities.

Client requirements

  • The countries, the planned activity and the order in which you want to proceed.
  • Identification of the company, its representatives and, where applicable, its beneficial owners.
  • The documents requested by each country and each professional.
  • The decisions that are yours to make in each jurisdiction.
05Process

Process

  1. Free initial call, with no obligation, of up to 30 minutes.

  2. Regional initial assessment, if your case requires it. The initial assessment is normally delivered 3 to 7 business days after we receive the complete information needed to begin.

  3. Assessment of the availability of the entity or operator in each country.

  4. Proposal identifying, for each country, who provides the service, the scope and the invoicing.

  5. Coordinated execution and progress reports.

The roadmap is designed in stages and can be extended to other countries when the project requires it, subject to the same assessment. Timelines depend on the institutions involved and on the documents available. We give you a written estimate in the proposal or in the initial assessment; we do not promise timelines we do not control.

06Contracting

Contracting, invoicing and limits

Contracting

Each proposal states which entity or operator provides each part of the service in each country, and the scope and responsibilities of each. If, for a given country, we do not have an available operator willing to accept the assignment, we tell you before making a proposal. The initial call is free and creates no obligation for either party. We quote according to scope, complexity and country. The proposal separates Vertex fees from third-party costs. If you completed the initial assessment beforehand, its fee may be credited as set out in the proposal.

Invoicing

The proposal identifies the contracting and invoicing entity for each country. Operators and professionals invoice their own fees according to the proposal.

Third-party costs

Fees of notaries, lawyers, accountants or other professionals, official fees, translations and apostilles are itemized before work begins. Whenever possible, you pay the professional, supplier or operator directly. If Vertex needs to handle a payment, the item requires your prior authorization and is presented separately. No hidden markups are applied.

Exclusions

The following are not part of the service: legal, tax, immigration, accounting or financial advice in any country; notarial acts; functions that each country's law reserves to local professionals; official fees and third-party fees.

Limits

  • We do not have our own offices in Guatemala or Panama. Outside El Salvador, we do not have our own offices.
  • Coordination in Guatemala and Panama depends on the assessment of the case and on the availability and acceptance of an independent operator; it is not available in every case.
  • This page does not describe the regulations of Guatemala or Panama. The requirements of each country are confirmed by the licensed professional of that jurisdiction.
  • We do not guarantee decisions by authorities or banks, or the performance of independent operators or professionals.
  • We communicate directly in Spanish and English. When a counterpart requires Mandarin or another language, we coordinate translation tools and external interpreters according to the needs of the case.
