Frequently Asked

Questions

Direct answers to what foreign principals ask most. Where a matter is regulated, Vertex coordinates and prepares in conjunction with authorized professionals — it does not replace them.

01Frequently Asked

Questions

01

Where do I start if I want to operate in El Salvador or Honduras?

You start with one structured conversation. Vertex becomes the single point that coordinates preparation, sequence, and counterparts — instead of you assembling a fragmented set of vendors in an unfamiliar system.

02

Is Vertex a law firm? Can it give legal or tax advice?

No. Vertex is a coordination firm. It does not provide legal, tax, immigration, or financial advice. Regulated matters are referred to and prepared in conjunction with authorized professionals in the relevant jurisdiction.

03

I do not speak Spanish. Can we work in English or Chinese?

Yes. Engagements are conducted in English, Spanish, and Mandarin without loss of meaning — not as translation, but as continuity of commercial and institutional context.

04

Can you guarantee a visa, residency, a bank account, or an incentive?

No, and any firm that promises this should not be retained. Those decisions belong to the competent authorities and institutions. Vertex coordinates and prepares the documentation and sequence that precede them.

05

How does an engagement begin?

With a brief, confidential conversation to understand scope and counterparts. Vertex proposes coordination only once it is clear the engagement is one it can prepare and accompany well. There is no obligation in an initial conversation.

06

What do you need from me at first contact?

A short outline of the engagement, the jurisdictions involved, and the counterparts in view. Detail is not required at first contact.

07

How do you reduce the risk of dealing with unreliable local people?

Introductions are made only to verified, accountable local professionals — legal, accounting, banking. Relationships are never invented for effect.

08

Can you help with company formation, fiscal address, and a virtual office?

Yes. These fall within Corporate Establishment and Corporate Presence coordination — preparation and sequencing, in conjunction with authorized professionals where matters are regulated.

09

Do you coordinate with China, or for principals operating from China?

Yes. The China Desk maintains active working ties across mainland China and Hong Kong SAR, coordinating language, commercial culture, and institutional expectation across the corridor.

10

How long do things take?

Timelines depend on third parties — banks, authorities, counterparts. Vertex sequences and maintains order so nothing stalls for want of preparation, but it does not promise timelines it does not control.

11

Is my information confidential?

Yes. Initial correspondence is treated as confidential by default. Where an engagement involves regulated matters, information is shared only with authorized professionals, and only as necessary.

12

What does Vertex not do?

It is not a law firm, a visa or immigration agent, a marketing agency, or a processor of paperwork. Its value is preparation, coordination, and institutional clarity — with explicit limits.

13

Do you coordinate in Panama as well?

Yes — Vertex provides regional coordination including El Salvador, Honduras and Panama. Operations are based in El Salvador and Honduras; in Panama and elsewhere in the region, coordination is conducted in liaison with verified, authorized professionals. Vertex maintains no office, license, or legal representation it does not have.
